So I spent 4 days hospitalized last week because of this crap. Trying a new medication. Fingers crossed that it works. I'm so over it...and ready for a cure!

  2. My 13 year old was diagnosed recently with Dysautonomia and she's having a hard time with acceptance. She makes fun of me because I chase her around with a water bottle begging her to drink her fluids! I'm finding some people her age on Facebook and she just sent her first email to another 13 year old who's symptoms are worse than hers are. I hope that helps her to feel more comfortable and able to accept. I hope your feeling better. I'm trying to read everything I can because there are way too many doctors that think this is all in our heads. I think I have Dysautonomia too. The one thing the doctor my daughter is seeing said that my Fibromyalgia could actually be dysautonomia. I hope one day they find a cure. I've been told by friends and my own parents that I'm a hypochondriac, crazy and a liar when I can't get out of bed. I'm going to read your blog and all of your sites of interest. Thanks for your blog - what your doing here is helping people like me to learn, understand and teach others.

  3. The doctor my daughter is seeing for Dysautonomia said that anxiety is another symptom because of the heart rate issues and the brain getting incorrect information. It's not the same anxiety that someone with depression has. I hope this helps you!
